Consumer Fireworks are not toys. They are in fact, powerful pyrotechnic articles and, for this reason, both their sale and purchase are regulated.
YOU MUST OBTAIN A FIREWORKS PERMIT PRIOR TO DISCHARGING ANY FIREWORKS
It is the responsibility of the Fireworks Permit holder to know the rules and regulations of the municipality in which they will be discharging the fireworks. Before applying, please take note of the information within the file below entitled "Consumer Fireworks Safety."
Fireworks permit is linked below, on our applications and forms page, or can be obtained from the Drayton Valley Brazeau County Fire Services at 5120- 52nd in Drayton Valley during regular business hours, for a fee as outlined in the Brazeau County schedule of Fees Bylaw.
