ADVANCE VOTE OCTOBER 8

Just a reminder that Brazeau County will be holding its first advance vote for the 2025 Municipal Election this Wednesday (October 8) from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Breton Community Centre.

Eligible voters from all divisions may attend the advance vote. Voters are asked to please bring identification that includes their full name and address. Voters who do not appear on the Permanent Electors Register will need to be added to the register in accordance with the Local Authorities Election Act.

Voters are reminded to be patient at the voting station and that any abusive behaviour or language toward election staff or other voters will not be tolerated.

To be eligible to vote in the election you must be 18 years or older, a Canadian citizen and reside in the division you are voting for on the day of the election. Further information on voting, including a list of candidates, is posted on the elections page of the Brazeau County website at www.brazeau.ab.ca.

Brazeau County has also entered into an agreement with Wild Rose School Division to provide a voting opportunity for WRSD Ward 2 School Trustee for Brazeau County voters AS WELL AS for Village of Breton residents. Village of Breton residents may vote for school trustee at the Breton Community Centre during the advance vote on October 8 and on Election Day on October 20.
