Land Use Bylaw Review - 2015

lub workshop feb 2015

The Multi-Stakeholder Workshop took place on Wednesday, February 25th, from 1pm-4pm.  The objective of this engagement was to bring together diverse stakeholders, explore potential concerns and improvements for the Land Use Bylaw, and identify common ground between stakeholders.

You can view the notes and Summary here: icon LUB Workshop Summary 2015

 Project Background

Brazeau County adopted the Brazeau County Municipal Development Plan (MDP) in 2011. It is a provincially required statutory document that sets out guidelines for the orderly development and compatibility for the many uses of land in the County. The Land Use Bylaw (LUB) is a tool for implementing the vision established in the MDP and the County is undergoing the review process to ensure the vision can become a reality.

The County has retained a planning consulting firm, planningAlliance from Edmonton, as a lead consultant for the preparation of both these documents. The project is anticipated to be completed by May 2015.

Access the Land Use Bylaw Review - 2015 page for further information.
