Welcome Home to Brazeau County

Welcome to Brazeau County, the heart of west-central Alberta! A land where industry and commerce join forces with outdoor recreation adventures and western culture, creating a vibrant and growing community.  To Contact Us or see where we are located, Click Here.

Due to the current dry conditions in Brazeau County and area we have a Partial Fire Ban.

A partial fire ban occurs when the fire hazard in the area is high to very high. Wildfires can start easily from unattended campfires, cooking fires and open burning such as brush pile burning. Wildfires may become serious and difficult to control if not successfully contain while small. OUTDOOR BURNING IS ONLY PERMITTED IN APPROVED FIRE PITS OR APPROVED BURNING APPLIANCES.  All burn permits will be suspended until further notice.

For more information, contact the Drayton Valley/Brazeau Fire Services at 780-514-2216.
