Here's how it works:

General Rules & Guidelines

System is ACCESS based

Numbers increase going North and West

Odd numbers are on the South and East of roads

Even numbers are on the North and West of roads

There are 32 addresses per mile broken down to 16 on each side of a Range or Township Road one address for each 100 meters of road

At the entrance to each subdivision is a large map indicating the Rural Addressing lot numbers

If two accesses fall within the same 100-metre zone, they will both receive letter designations (i.e. 48012A - Rge Rd 72 and 48012B - Rge Rd 72). Each house will have a letter sign in their yard indicating if they are house A, B, or C.

This system is not for mailing purposes, but for the provision of 911 - Emergency Services only.
