NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
TAKE NOTICE that the Councils of Brazeau County and Parkland County will be holding public hearings with regard to the Brazeau County/Parkland County Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP). An IDP is a document required by the Municipal Government Act, which ensures future development and land use policy is coordinated between municipalities, reduces the possibility of any potential conflicts between Counties and ensures the relationship remains collaborative. The proposed Brazeau County/Parkland County IDP will encompass the area shown on the map below.
TAKE NOTICE that Parkland County Council will hold a Public Hearing at which any person claiming to be affected by the proposed adoption of the IDP may ask questions or make their views known. Verbal presentations at the Public Hearing will be limited to a maximum of 10 minutes. Anyone wishing to make a verbal presentation who has not made prior arrangements may be allocated a time at the commencement of the Public Hearing.
