Women in Business Conference & Awards

Brazeau County proudly hosted the 2018 Women in Business Conference and Awards Gala which took place on October 12th and 13th.

The event featured an opportunity for idea exchange and opportunity discovery through the delivery of carefully crafted professional development sessions, keynote addresses and networking.

Five years running, the Women in Business Network has proven itself to be a much needed and wanted business support for female entrepreneurs, business leaders and budding entrepreneurs. We have been told many stories of business connections made, training and tools learned that helped shaped business plans and most importantly the network of support created.

Canada has seen a surge of entrepreneurship in our economy over the last 20 years and women have been at the forefront of that growth. Small business drives our region and were are fortunate to have many female led businesses and business leaders contributing to our local economy and we will continue to support economic diversification which includes women in business.

Session topics ranged from personal to business growth straight from certified coaches and business leaders who have built their businesses from the ground up!

The conference was capped with a Celebration of Success Awards Gala which brought together conference delegates with community, municipal leaders, sponsors and supporters.
