From the Desk of the CAO
Greetings! I would like to introduce myself, I’m Jocelyn Whaley, your new interim Chief Administrative Officer.
I’m very excited to be working with Council, staff, and you the residents to bring the priorities and aspirations of this County to reality. My background is extensively from working in and for all levels of government, and I have previously served as a Municipal Councillor for one term in Leduc County.
As we start to imagine the possibility of warmer weather and the chill of winter disappearing, I would like to remind all of you that the aggressive capital investment in roads, sewer and lagoon infrastructure, that was approved in the interim budget by Council in December, will begin to roll out over the next few months. If you see construction please slow down and be careful; the workers are building a better Brazeau County!
I am a firm believer in public participation and keeping residents engaged in what their government is doing, not just at election time, but also throughout the terms.
