FIRE UPDATE 8 PM MAY 6

The Town of Drayton Valley and Brazeau County established a registration system for evacuees in the region.  2304 homes in Drayton Valley and 1200 homes in Brazeau County have been evacuated.  As of this evening, a total of 1402 households have registered on the system, approximately 61% of evacuees.

We encourage all evacuees from Drayton Valley and Brazeau County to register as this will allow us to share important messaging with you.  This will also allow us to have an understanding on how many evacuees there are. Crews are continuing their firefighting efforts this evening, we’d like to remind all residents in the evacuation zones to please stay out of these areas.
