RR64/Buck Creek fire update - 7:30 p.m. May 4

Anyone north of Township Road 482 and south of Highway 39, and west of Range Road 64 and east of the North Saskatchewan River (green on the map below) must evacuate immediately.

Anyone in the evacuation notice area must be able to evacuate within 30 minutes. This area is: north of Township Road 474 and south of Highway 39, and west of Range Road 61 and east of the North Saskatchewan River (purple on the map below)

This area is established only as a precaution in case fire behaviour changes.

Please call the Emergency Social Services line at 780-542-7777 or email communityservices@brazeau.ab.ca if you have mobility concerns, are not able to evacuate within 30 minutes, if you have a large number of livestock, or if you have concerns.
