Construction work on Highway 22 - Summer 2019

Brazeau County motorists are asked to be aware of significant work being done on Highway 22 up to the interchange with Highway 16.

Work being performed until at least the end of September includes intersection improvements including at Range Roads 502, 512, and 514; widening; addition of lanes; and the repaving of the highway between Drayton Valley and the Highway 16 interchange.

Motorists can expect delays, detours, alternating traffic, reduced speeds, and flagpersons controlling traffic over the summer.
An alternate route east is Highway 624 to Highway 759. An alternate route west is Highway 621 to Highway 753.
