Pembina Physician Recruitment and Retention Committee Knows How to Make a Powerful First Impression (video)
First impressions are so powerful. So, when Suné and Dr. Ryan White came from South Africa to Drayton Valley for a site visit, the local attraction and retention committee went all-out to showcase their community.
The Whites were impressed. After visiting several rural Alberta Communities, they chose Drayton Valley.
The Pembina Physician Recruitment and Retention Committee was formed seven years ago because, at that time, there was a serious shortage of physicians here. Thanks to the passion and hard work of the committee, today there is a full complement of physicians in Drayton Valley.
Those accomplishments have led to the committee being named the recipient of the 2018 RhPAP Rhapsody Community Award.
