Municipal Libraries

Brazeau County recognizes the important role libraries play in the community. To make sure Brazeau County residents have access to the variety of services offered by municipal libraries, the Brazeau County Library Board has service agreements with the Drayton Valley Municipal Library Board and Breton Municipal Library Board. These agreements give Brazeau County residents full access to the Drayton Valley Municipal Library, Rotary Children’s Branch Library and Breton Municipal Library.

The Brazeau County Library Board is funded by Brazeau County and provides semi-annual payments to the libraries as part of its service agreements. The board meets four times a year and consists of two members of Brazeau County Council and three members-at-large.
