Pembina Educational Consortium
The Pembina Educational Consortium offers a wide range of credit courses originating from several post-secondary institutions including Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), Red Deer College, Athabasca University, NorQuest College, and Grant MacEwan Community College. The role of the Consortium is to facilitate programs and services provided by post-secondary institutions to adults who live in regions not directly served by a single institution.

Powerhouse Community Learning Council
Now known as the Community Learning Council, the Powerhouse Further Education Council offers many courses throughout the year, including fine arts, crafts, cooking, home skills, personal development, recreation, agriculture/gardening, first aid, leadership training, technical and academics courses. Courses are offered in Drayton Valley and Breton.
