Wild Boar Bounty

New on the Pest Act list are wild boars which are moving south through neighboring counties. Currently, none have been found in Brazeau County.  We have joined the Wild Boar Bounty Program from Alberta Agriculture. The municipality pays the hunters $50 per pair of wild boar at large ears submitted and collects a signed declaration that states the animal was at large, was killed humanely and legally and the legal land location where the animal was killed.
