icon 2013 Schedule of Fees - In accordance with the Municipal Government Act, the Council for Brazeau County has set the following fees for goods or services provided.

icon Animal Control Bylaw 656-08 - This bylaw provides for the regulation, control and keeping of dogs in Brazeau County. This bylaw was passed January 13, 2009.
Attachments:
Schedule 'A' - Amount payable to Brazeau County by the owner of an animal in order to claim or destroy an animal at the pound.
Schedule 'B' - Regulations pertaining to the purchasing of eligible animals from the pound.
Schedule 'C' - The general description of the specified penalties offences provided for by this bylaw, together with the specified penalties to be imposed in regard to those offences, are as follows. In lieu of prosecution, Brazeau County will accept voluntary payments of such specified penalties.

icon Off-Highway Vehicle Bylaw 693-09 - A bylaw authorizing the operation of off highway vehicles on highways, right-of-ways and municipal property in Brazeau County.
Pursuant to the provisions of the Off Highway Vehicle Regulation AR 319/2002 and/or Traffic Safety Act, being Chapter T-6 Revised Statutes of Alberta, 2000 with amendments thereto, no person shall operate an off highway vehicle on any portion of a highway.
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 120(4)(b) of the aforesaid statues, the Council of the municipality may by bylaw, with respect to highways under its direction, control and management, authorize persons to operate off highway vehicles on any portion of any such highway or right of way class thereof and may restrict the hours during which such operation may take place.

icon 2013 Property Tax Bylaw No. 805-13 - A bylaw to authorize the rates of taxation to be levied against assessable property within Brazeau County for the 2013 taxation year.

icon Fire Services Bylaw 703-09.pdf - A bylaw authorizing the prevention and control of fires.
Sections 7 and 8 of the Municipal Government Act R.S.A. 2000, Chapter M-26 provide that Council may pass bylaws for the prevention or the extinguishing of fires, the preservation of life and property, the protection of persons from injury or destruction by fire, and provides the Municipality the authority to establish a system of licenses, permits or approvals within Brazeau County.
